Accessibilità

Regulatory Background and Methodology
The European standard EN 301 549 defines accessibility requirements for digital products and services, including websites and e-commerce.
This standard is largely based on WCAG 2.1 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) developed by the W3C, which is internationally recognized as the gold standard. The audit was conducted by a third party, and the 4 fundamental principles of accessibility were considered:
- Perceivable
- Operable
- Understandable
- Robust
The analysis combines manual testing and verification by semi-automated tools selected from those recommended by the W3C that consider techniques compliant with WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA. This accessibility statement applies to the e-commerce website www.pastadimartino.it.
Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with the accessibility requirements of Directive (EU) 2019/882, as not all sections fully comply with WCAG 2.1 level AA.
Non-accessible content
Currently, some sections of the site have critical accessibility issues:
- The wish list element in the menu is inconsistent with the other icons and lacks an accessible name.
- 35 elements on the homepage are not accessible due to insufficient color contrast.
- Keyboard focus is not visible for some elements on the homepage.
- Elements on the site pages must have unique IDs.
- Products outside of the carousels' visible area are hidden from screen readers but contain active links.
- The checkbox for privacy consent is not accessible.
- An interactive div lacks a label or ARIA attributes and is not made accessible for assistive technologies.
- There are interactive elements (e.g., links, buttons) that respond only to mouse events and not to keyboard input.
Reporting mechanism
You can report accessibility problems, request information in an alternative format, or communicate navigational difficulties by writing to: shop@pastadimartino.it.
