Pastificio Di Martino main sponsor of the Slow Food Italia event dedicated to the sea and its protection
From 1 to 4 June, our historic Pastificio was the protagonist of Slow Fish 2023 , at the Old Port of Genoa, a Slow Food event dedicated to water ecosystems and their inhabitants.
At dinner with the stars Pasquale Palamaro and Peppe Guida
For the occasion we brought with us two exceptional special guests : the starred chefs Peppe Guida and Pasquale Palamaro, protagonists of the dinners under the stars at the Rollipop Bistrot and of the workshops at the Di Martino stand . Pasquale Palamaro, Executive Chef of the starred Indaco restaurant at the Hotel Regina Isabella in Ischia, brought his refined seafood dishes to Slow Fish, which enhanced Di Martino's pasta to the eye and to the palate. Peppe Guida, starred chef of Antica Osteria Nonna Rosa , in his fish dishes based on pasta from Gragnano PGI has instead combined the highest cuisine with the simplicity of traditional recipes.
The stand in Piazza Caricamento and the laboratories
Several workshops for adults and children - the latter organized by Condotta Slow Food Monti Lattari - which we organized during the days of the event, a series of appointments to learn by doing, tasting, to get to know and learn more about the characteristics and qualities of pasta, from kitchen to table. The Di Martino stand was also the home of In the kitchen with Slow Food , the format dedicated to the discovery of gastronomy, local traditions and culinary techniques, curated by the Chefs of the Slow Food Alliance , Andrea Dalpiaz, Lorenzo Econimo and Alessandro Massone. The appointments were made in collaboration with QBA – Quality Beer Academy and Acqua San Bernardo.
